In 1982, the GI Joe storyline was relaunched with a complex background story of “good vs. evil” involving an ongoing struggle between the GI Joe Team and the evil Cobra organization, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world. An original member of the GI Joe team, Snake Eyes has been around from the beginning of the franchise, even though very little has ever been revealed about him.
