Best known for his history with fellow ninja Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow is the evil ninja of the GI Joe franchise. As a member of the evil Cobra organization, a ruthless terrorist organization created as the nemesis of the GI Joe Team when the line was relaunched in 1982, Storm Shadow is a well known figure in the GI Joe world.

Don’t let his white outfit fool you…Storm Shadow is the ninja body guard and assassin for Cobra Commander. While he once changed sides to be with the Joes, his conflicting loyalties and blood-brother relationship with GI Joe’s Snake Eyes landed him back on the side of evil. He is a bad guy through and through.

This GI Joe costume is based on the original outfit worn by Storm Shadow when first introduced in 1982. Fairly unaltered from the original design, the movie version’s main difference was the material used to make the costume…leather. For general costuming purposes, this GI Joe costume can be found made in more affordable fabrics. In 1982, the GI Joe storyline was relaunched with a complex background story of “good vs. evil” involving an ongoing struggle between the GI Joe Team and the evil Cobra organization, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world. An original member of the GI Joe team, Snake Eyes has been around from the beginning of the franchise, even though very little has ever been revealed about him.

The latest GI Joe costume for Snake Eyes is one of the few costumes that hasn’t changed much since the initial creation of the character.
